My profile and the profile card

Your photo, in-game phone, bank account and motto; the profile card that opens on any officer’s photo across the MDT; who sees what.

On this page05
  1. Your photo
  2. Your details
  3. The profile card
  4. Who sees what
  5. The owner and their assignment

Every member has a profile in the organization: what colleagues see about them. Open it from the account menu (your photo, top right), entry My profile; on a phone, from More › My profile and preferences. Your profile applies to this organization only: in another one, you have another profile.

My profile: photo, phone, bank account, motto and the visibility rules

Two tabs: Profile (below) and Notifications, where you choose, category by category, what lands in the bell and by Discord direct message (see Notifications).

The Profile page has two columns: on the left, your Profile photo and your details; on the right, a preview of your name as colleagues see it (hover your photo to open your own card) and the Who sees what box, which recalls the visibility rules.

  1. Click Add a photo (or Replace if you already have one) and pick a PNG, JPG or WebP image. Any other format (a GIF, for instance) is refused with a message.
  2. The Crop the photo window opens: drag the image inside the square frame (mouse, finger or keyboard arrows) and zoom with the Zoom slider, the mouse wheel or the + and − keys.
  3. Click Save. The image is compressed to a square WebP of about 512 px before upload. Cancel closes the window without changing anything.

Remove deletes your photo: your initials come back. Your photo replaces your initials everywhere in the MDT.

  • Phone: your in-game number, free text (32 characters at most).
  • Bank account: your in-game account number (40 characters at most). It helps servers that pay by hand, without automatic transfers.
  • Motto: a short sentence (80 characters at most), shown on your profile card.

A counter (for instance “12 / 80”) follows each field; past the limit, the field turns red and Save stays greyed out. Save is only active when something changed. Emptying a field clears the information.

With the game integration, if your active character has a phone provided by the game, it is shown next to your entry, read-only (In-game phone): it never replaces what you typed.

Wherever an officer appears (roster, duty, dispatch and units, calls, reports, records, warrants, sanctions, summons, absences, payroll, announcements, audit log, archives, home, tablet…), their name comes with their photo. Hover the photo with a mouse, or tap it on a phone (keyboard: Tab then Enter): their profile card opens.

An officer’s profile card

The card shows:

  • their photo, RP name and badges: You on your own card, Owner or Administrator depending on their role, Suspended if their access to the organization is suspended (see Members);
  • their motto;
  • each of their services, with rank and callsign, and their status (On duty and for how long, or Off duty); “No assignment” if they have none;
  • their Unit and its status, and their hours this week (This week);
  • their Phone (and the Game one if it differs) and Bank account, each with a copy button.

Escape, the Close button or a click outside closes it. Your own card offers Edit my profile. If the person left the organization, the card says so.

Information Who sees it Why
Photo, name, service, rank, callsign, motto, phone every member of the organization it’s the internal directory: you must be able to reach a colleague from another service
Duty status and unit the officer, admins and members of one of their services what those members already see in dispatch
Hours this week the officer, and whoever has Duty › See the team’s hours in the service the same rule as the Duty page
Bank account the officer, and whoever has Payroll › Compute periods, Approve a period or Send transfers in one of their services (admins included) banking data: only for whoever pays

The card’s data only loads when it opens, and the server enforces these rules: information you may not see never reaches your browser.

When the organization is created, the owner is not assigned to any service: they already have every permission, like any administrator. To appear on the roster, go on duty or get paid like an officer, an administrator (owner included) assigns themselves in one step: Assign me, in the account menu, under the preview on the My profile page or at the top of the Roster module. They pick the service, the rank and, if the service uses them, their callsign. The same button then reads Change my assignment. It is logged.
