Everyone in the organization as cards, with their photo, rank, service and callsign; filters, search and profile card.

The Directory (group Staff) shows the members of the whole organization as cards: their profile photo, their RP name, their rank and service, their callsign, and the On duty badge when you are allowed to see it. Tap a card (or Tab then Enter on a keyboard): the member’s profile card opens.

Finding a colleague

  • Search: by name or callsign, ignoring accents and case (“camille”, “1-ADAM-12”).
  • Service: All services, or only the members of one service, from the highest rank down.
  • Rank: once a service is picked, All ranks or only that rank. Without a service, the list stays greyed out on “Pick a service”.

Changing a filter or the search starts again from the first 24 cards.

Without a filter, every active member of the organization shows up, by seniority. The grid shows 24 at a time, with their count at the bottom (“24 members shown”); Show more loads the next ones. A member assigned to several services shows the first one (the filtered service, otherwise their highest rank) and a small +1. A member assigned to no service shows No rank. When nothing matches, the page shows No one here.

In a very large organization, the search stops after reading the first 1,000 members and says so (“The search stopped at the first 1,000 members: narrow it down.”): add a service filter or refine the name.

Who sees what

The directory follows the profile card rules, enforced by the server:

Photo, name, service, rank, callsign every member who opens the directory
On duty only for a shared service (everything for an administrator; everyone always sees their own)

There is no permission to grant: the module opens to every member assigned to a service that has it enabled, and to administrators. To remove it from a service, untick it on the service’s sheet (Configuration › Services, see Services and modules).
