Subscription and billing

The subscription is managed in Settings › Subscription. There you see your plan and what your organization uses, and you pay, change plans, cancel or export your data.

Who has access

Other members have no access. They only see the information banner when the organization becomes read-only (see below).

Plans

Every feature is in every plan: web, in-game tablet, Discord. Only the limits and the price change. Prices include VAT.

Yearly billing costs ten months: two months free. On the page, pick Yearly (the “2 months free” tag sits on that button): each plan then shows its yearly price, the monthly equivalent and how much you save. With Monthly, only the monthly price shows. The Server plan also lists your own domain name, coming soon: it is not available yet. For the Custom plan (more than 800 members, several servers), contact us.

The free trial

Every new organization gets a 14-day free trial, no credit card, with every feature, within the limits of the Standard plan (6 services, 250 members).

• During the trial, the owner and the administrators see a Trial · N d pill (the days left) in the top bar, on desktop and on mobile; it leads to this page. On the last day it reads Trial · last day. In the last 3 days it turns to the warning color. Other members do not see it.
• Under Choose a plan, the trial plan is marked Trial in progress (not “Current plan”): nothing is paid yet.
• 3 days before the end, a reminder lands in the owner’s bell.
• You can subscribe during the trial: the remaining trial days are kept, and the first charge only happens when the trial ends.
• Without a subscription, the organization goes through the steps of the end of a subscription.

Limits

When the organization reaches a limit of its plan, SuperMDT refuses, with a clear message:

• creating a service, including through a configuration import or a restore from the archives;
• a new member joining: an accepted invitation, or restoring an archived member.

Nothing is ever deleted or changed: your current services and members stay in place. To unblock, move to a higher plan or remove items.

Your usage

The page shows:

• the members used out of your plan’s limit;
• the services used out of the limit;
• file storage (photos, documents), in MB.

Storage is not limited for now. It is recalculated once a day, and on demand with Refresh: the result shows right away. An organization that has not uploaded any file yet shows 0 MB from the start.

Paying and managing payment

Payment goes through Stripe, on its secure payment page (Stripe Checkout). VAT is calculated by Stripe. SuperMDT never sees your card numbers.

Once subscribed, Manage payment opens the Stripe customer portal: payment method, invoices, changing plan or billing period. Under the terms of sale (section 9.3), a higher plan applies right away, prorated; a lower plan applies at the next renewal, provided the organization fits its limits.

Cancelling

The Cancel button is on the page. Like every destructive action in SuperMDT, it does not open a confirmation dialog: press and hold it (or Space / Enter on the keyboard); releasing cancels.

• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid. Until then, everything works normally.
• A confirmation appears, with the effective date.
• You can undo the cancellation at any time before that date.

After the effective date, the organization goes through the steps below.

Yearly subscription: the renewal reminder

The subscription renews automatically. For a yearly subscription, the owner gets a notification about 45 days before renewal (between one and three months before, as the terms of sale provide): the time to cancel if they don’t want another year.

End of trial, unpaid invoice or cancellation

When the trial ends without a subscription, after an unpaid invoice that is not settled, or on the effective date of a cancellation, the organization goes through three steps.

1. The bridge is suspended. The bridge key is refused (orgSuspended error): nothing passes between the game and SuperMDT anymore (tablet, alerts, sync).
2. Read-only for a 14-day grace period. Everyone can still sign in and look things up, but nothing can be changed. A banner explains the situation to every member, with the end date. The owner can pay at any time: everything is restored immediately.
3. Archived for 90 days. Members lose access. The owner keeps only the Subscription page (to pay and restore everything) and the full export. Data is kept for 90 days: it is never deleted right away.

What happens after the archive period is described in section 12 of the terms of sale.

Declined payment

A declined payment leaves 3 days before read-only, while Stripe retries the payment automatically. Update your payment method in Manage payment to settle it.

Exporting all your data

Export all data is on the Subscription page. It is free and available at any time, including in read-only mode and during the archive period.

The export is a JSON file, table by table, archives included. The files themselves (photos, documents) are not included: only their references. To export a single record as PDF or image, see Exports; to reuse your configuration on another server, see Import / export.

During the beta

Billing is not open yet. The page shows Founder access and no limit applies.
